신디 : 지금 퇴근하시는 거예요? 저는 늦게까지 있어야 할 것 같네요.

숀 : 내가 도울 일이 있나요?

신디 : 그게, 제가 프레젠테이션 준비를 해야 하는데요.

숀 : 원한다면, 제가 훑어봐 줄 수 있을 것 같은데요.

신디 : 고맙습니다, 숀. 그럴 시간이 정말 있으신 거예요?

숀 : 네, 걱정 마세요, 신디. 천천히 하세요.

Sean : Cindy, I'm off.

Cindy : Are you getting off now? I'm afraid I have to stay late.

Sean : Is there anything I can do to help?

Cindy : Well, I need to prepare my presentation.

Sean : I think I can look through it if you want.

Cindy : Thank you, Sean. Are you sure you have enough time to do that?

Sean : Yes, don't worry, Cindy. Take it easy.

"stay late"

회사에 일이 많아서 야근을 할 때 '늦게까지 일한다'는 의미로 late를 넣어 말하면 됩니다. 대화문에 있는 것처럼 stay late라고 하기고 하고, work late라고도 합니다. I have to stay late. 혹은 I think I should work late again.과 같이 말을 할 수 있죠. '야근하다'는 다른 표현으로 work overtime을 쓰기도 합니다.
