Black Friday is the Friday after thanksgiving day in the United states. Though not an official holiday, the day has a significant meaning to the american consumer market. It is considered as the beginning of the Christmas shopping season. Most major stores offer promotional sales and open at extremely early hours. Many companies take the day off, which increases the number of shoppers.
