한국 음식은 우리 조상들을 영혼과 지혜를 상징하기 때문에 나는 많은 사랑과 존경심을 지니고 있다. 하지만 나의 가슴을 미어지게 하는 한 종류의 음식이 있다. 나는 가지에 대한 한국식 조리법이 비판 받아야 한다고 믿는다. 대부분의 한국식 가지요리들은 데쳐서 참기름으로 양념을 한다. 이탈리아식 혹은 중국식 가지요리를 먹어보지 않았다면 이 조리법을 싫어할 필요는 없다.

I have a lot of love and respect for Korean food, since it represents the spirit and wisdom of our ancestors. but, there is one type of food that makes my heart ache. I believe that Korean recipes for eggplants need to be criticized. most Korean eggplant dishes are blanched and seasoned with sesame oil. there is no need to dislike this recipe, unless you try Italian or Chinese eggplant dishes.

내일 학교에 나올 필요는 없다.
