The Germiest Places in Airports  공항에서 세균이 가장 많은 곳

[Power Dialog]

Here, I bought us both some baby wipes and hand sanitizer. I'm not taking any chances on this trip.

Why the sudden germaphobia?

I read an article about the germiest places in airports and airplanes.

I imagine with people from all over the world there, the risks are high.

First, there are the security check bins. They're crawling with germs. And once you get on the plane, it gets worse. The seats, tray tables, bathrooms...

Oh my!

Let me put it this way: If you can avoid touching anything, you'll be doing yourself a big favor.

[Power Note]

1. not take any chances - to be extremely careful

몸을 사리다, 무리수를 두지 않다, 매우 신중하다

A: Why the helmet and knee pads? We're only going for a bike ride.

B: I'm not taking any chances. You said we might go on a mountain trail.

* Rick wasn't taking any chances and packed an extra six pairs of underwear.

2. be crawling with something - to be crowded or infested with something

~으로 가득하다, 득실거리다, 우글거리다

A: Do you notice anything different about the airport today?

B: Yeah, it seems to be crawling with police officers and soldiers.

* The parade route was crawling with TV cameras and reports.

3. Let me put it this way - an expression used to say something again to stress its importance

이렇게 설명해 볼게, 다시 말하자면

A: Are you happy with your promotion?

B: Let me put it this way: I'm no longer struggling to pay my bills.

* Is my girlfriend beautiful? Let me put it this way: all heads turn when she walks into a room.

[Power Pattern & Vocabulary]
