Music Teaching Apps  음악 교육 앱

[Power Dialog]

Yo, Liv, check it out. (he plays a few chords on the guitar.)

Hey! When did you start talking guitar lessons? You're getting good!

I'm using an app from a famous guitar company. There are hundreds of videos showing you everything you need to become a rock god!

I've seen those apps before. My sister used one to get better at piano.

I remember her raving about it.

Maybe I'll get in on the act and start learning ukulele.

This app teaches that, too. Maybe you, your sister, and I can start a band!

[Power Note]

1. Check it out - a way to suggest someone to look at something

이거 봐, 들어 봐

A: Check it out, I got a new baseball glove for my son.

B: Wow! He's going to love it. I've never seen a blue mitt before.

* Check it out, my boss gave me box seat tickets to the baseball game on Saturday!

2. rave about something - to excitedly talk about something

(~에 관해) 열변을 토하다, 극찬하다; (화가 나서) 미친 듯이 악을 쓰다

A: The sales manager has been raving about the holiday sales numbers all day.

B: Yeah, he's a bit disappointed that we didn't hit our quota.

* Why are you raving about that new boy band? They all sound the same to me.

3. get in on the act - to participate in something

참가하다, 가담하다, 한몫 끼다

A: There's so many YouTubers out there making money from videos.

B: I know. I've been wondering how I can get in on the act.

* Electric cars are so popular these days that many companies are getting in on the act.
