"take"

take는 아주 다양한 상황과 문맥에서 여러 가지 뜻으로 쓰이는 단어예요. 대화문에서 처럼 '자리를 차지하다, 자리에 앉다'의 뜻으로도 쓸 수 있어요. '이 자리에 사람 있나요?'는 Is this seat taken?이라고 하고, '이 자리에 앉아도 되나요?'라고 할 때는 Can I take a seat?라고 할 수도 있습니다. 또 '어디에 앉으면 되나요?'라고 할 때는 Which seat can I taken?라고 하면 됩니다.
