입사 지원자가 많아서 걱정하는 제이크

"Chances are slim."
'가능성이 희박하다, 가능성이 별로 없다.'라는 말이 Chances are slim. 인데요. 이렇게 가능성이 거의 없다는 것을 나타낼 때 snowball in hell에 빗대어서 말하기도 합니다. 흔히 '지옥불'이라고 말을 하는데, 지옥에서 눈덩어리가 그대로 있을 가능성이 거의 없는 것만큼이나 가능성이 희박하다는 말로 a chance as a snowball in hell이라고도 합니다.
