information이라는 단어를 들으면, '자료, 정보'라는 뜻을 떠올리실 텐데요. 사실, 우리말의 자료나 정보보다 더 넓은 범위에서 쓸 수 있는 말입니다. 오늘 대화문에서처럼, 내용을 좀 더 추가해야 한다고 할 때 보고서의 '내용'으로도 쓸 수 있고, 시험을 앞두고 외워야 하는 공부의 내용도 information이라고 할 수 있습니다.
