San Diego zoo and safari park
Brad : Janet, did we go from San Diego to the middle of Africa in less than an hour?
Janet : Yeah, it’s amazing, isn't it? The Safari Park is so much cooler than the zoo, in my opinion. It’s like you've been transported around the world.
Brad : Well, I like the zoo better because of all the smaller animals you couldn't possibly see on this safari tour.
Janet : That’s true, but you can’t be this up close and personal with Cape buffaloes or rhinos in the regular zoo. Look! A fair of lions resting under that tree!
Brad : Wow! Look way over there! A hyena. It’s like they’re coming of the woodwork.
Janet : This is a lot of space just for a wildlife park. Do they do anything else here? I saw a couple of big buildings on our way to the Savannah section.
Brad : That was the veterinary hospital. Did you know it’s the largest in the world?
Janet : Really? It looks like they aren't hunting for money, unlike some other zoos I’ve seen in my travels.
Brad : I hate seeing animals in cages smaller then they are, you know?
Janet : I feel ya, Brad. Of all the safari parks I've ever been to, this one has got to be the biggest.
Brad : Don’t look now, but there’s a giraffe poking his head into the tour bus!
