존: 테일러, 넌 형제나 자매가 있니?

테일러 : 아니, 없어. 나는 외동아이야. 너는?

존 : 난 형제가 한 명 있어. 나는 외동아이었으면 좋겠다고 바라곤했었지.

테일러 : 아, 난 형제나 자매가 있었으면 좋겠다고 바라곤 했는데.

존 : 내 남동생이랑 나는 서로 심하게 경쟁을 했지. 우리는 늘 서로를 이기려고 애를 썼어.

John : Taylor, do you have any brothers or sisters?

Taylor : No, I don't. I'm an only child. You?

John : I have a brother. I used to wish I were an only child.

Taylor : Oh, I used to wish I had a brother or a sister. 

John : My brother and I were really competitive with each other. 

          We were always trying to outdo one another.
