- Writing Well When Time is Tight -
01 Choose a suitable design and hold to it.
적절한 형식을 고르고 그것을 고수하라.
02 Make the paragraph the unit of composition.
작문의 단위는 단락이다.
03 Put statements in positive form.
긍정문을 써라.
04 Use definite, specific, concrete language.
확실하고, 명확하며, 구체적인 언어를 사용하라.
05 Omit needless words.
불필요한 단어들은 생략하라.
06 Avoid a succession of loose sentences.
엉성한 문장들의 나열을 피하라.
07 Express co-ordinate ideas in similar form.
동등한 아이디어는 비슷한 형태로 나타내라.
08 Keep related words together.
연관된 단어들은 함께 써라.
09 In summaries, keep to one tense.
요약문을 쓸 때는, 시제를 통일하라.
10 Place the emphatic words of a sentence at the end.
문장에서 강조하는 단어는 끝에 놓아라.
