'가구'를 가리키는 furniture는 가구가 한 점이든 여러 점이든 -s를 붙여서 말하지 않고, 단수형, 복수형 모두 furniture라고 합니다. 가구 한 점을 가리킬 때는 앞에 a piece of를 붙여서 a piece of furniture라고 할 수 있습니다.
