Jamaica : Floyd's pelican bar!

Manny : Ava, I thought you said we were going out to get a Jamaica rum cocktail. Why are we heading out to a wooden shack in the middle of a reef?

Ava : Because it's Floyd's Pelican bar! There's nothing else like it in the world. It looks like a pretty good crowd today, too.

Manny : Wait a minute! You want me to go into that rickety old structure?  It looks like it could collapse at any moment.

Ava :  No, it's fine. This bar has withstood at least a dozen hurricanes. Its main support beams were pounded deep into the reef. You go first. But watch out for splinters!

Manny : If you insist..Hmm.. This place has a lot of character. Hey, is this entire building made of driftwood?

Ava : Yeah, the owner and his friends built it from scratch and spent next to nothing on it!

Manny : You know what? I really like this place! It has such an eclectic mix of people here and the bartender and owner are really friendly. Let's hurry and get our cocktails so we can drink a toast to the sunset with everyone.

Ava : I met the owner last year on the island and he told me all about this place. Do you want to know how much they spend on advertising, electricity, and property taxes? Nothing!

Manny : I guess the local government had never come across such a crazy idea before. And obviously word-of mouth advertising is pretty strong when you have something so unique.

Ava : Yeah, and with the little wind-generator on the roof, they can power a refrigerator and a couple of light bulbs!

Manny : Hmm.. Maybe I should move to the Caribbean and try my hand at being a bar owner!
