Johannesburg: Springboks' rugby game at ellis stadium.

Cecil : This game is off the hook! The Springboks against the All Blacks of New Zealand. It almost feels like a world championship match!

Janice : It's amazing how full this stadium is for a so-called "friendly" match. And look at the variety of people here!

Cecil : Yeah, you wouldn't have seem as many black and brown faces in the lower sections of the stadium under apartheid. They would have been relegated to the upper decks and obstructed-view seats.

Janice : There are even a lot of darker faces on the field. But look, isn't that the captain of the Springboks? He seems to be the only white guy out there.

Cecil : Let's not get into reverse discrimination now. He's probably the best player or the most experienced in international competition.

Janice : Yeah, I guess so. It's just hard not to see everything through the eyes of the victims of apartheid, you know?

Cecil : Well, it doesn't look like the apartheid era in the stadium today, does it? Everyone seems to be getting a kick out of the game equally.

Janice : Ooh! The Boks have the ball! I think they're going to score!

Cecil : All right, Springboks!!!! Hey, look, they're doing the wave! Here it comes...Yeah!!!

Janice : Yeah!!! Ha ha! That was fun. It's great to see people able to look past their differences, even if it's just for a few hours.

Cecil : I think sports can bring all people together. Go Boks!!!
