Two very different vacations

Thomas : Hey Jenny! How was your epic surfing vacation in Bali?

Jenny : It was perfect! There was a film crew there with a group of pros shooting a documentary called " The Endless Summer." So we got to hang out and surf with them.

Thomas : No way! That is so cool. On the off chance you're in the movie, let me get your autograph now.

Jenny : Very funny! But we did have to sign a release to allow any footage we were in to be in the movie. What about your trip to New Zealand?

Thomas : Yeah, my mates and I made our way over to the Southern Alps and skied our butts off for a week, then we went north to Auckland and partied for a while.

Jenny : It's so weird that we could be skiing and surfing at the same time. It's such a small world when you think about it.

Thomas : Yeah, it is. My friend Chris actually got a little bit of frostbite in August! How crazy is that?

Jenny : I imagine in 50 years it will be commonplace to take a multi-destination vacation so you can ski, surf, and take a space walk.

Thomas : I think that's a bit far-fetched. But if it does come to pass, you'll be a bit too long in the tooth to do any of it, unless, of course, it's virtual reality.

Jenny : Well, either way, it's something to hope for.

Thomas : All I'm hoping for is Christmas vacation to get here so I can go scuba diving in Australia. Or if worst comes to worst, I'll just take a Caribbean cruise.
